Sale: Just wanted to let you know that the 99 cent sale on e-copies of Blood Diva ends tonight at midnight. The price will be going up to the astronomical amount of $3.99. I know, I know! Greedy authors! You could buy something at Starbucks for that, but I guarantee this will keep you busy longer than a latte.
Here are the major online retailer links:
Did you know that most indie brick and mortar bookstores that sell books on their websites carry ebooks as well? You can find Blood Diva at these (and many more) indie retailers as well:
How awesome is that? You can support an indie author AND an indie bookstore AND get a full-length novel — all for less than a buck!
Reviews: So far I’ve got one (mostly) positive review up at Amazon, and one negative one up at Goodreads. Both thought there was “too much” erotic content in the novel. Wait, what? I’d love to know what other readers think, so it would be great if you could say a few words after you’re done reading. (Bloggers and other frequent reviewers can still grab FREE ARCs over at NetGalley. If you regularly review books and can’t get an ARC through NetGalley, write and I’ll see what I can do.
Paperback: When we got the proof it wasn’t perfect, so we’re going to give it another go. I’m not using the editorial “we.” The cover concept design is mine, but I have help. We’re trying to make sure the book looks bookshelf ready. It’s likely to be available by the end of August. There will be giveaways, so stay tuned. Getting self-published books on the shelves of brick and mortar stores is an uphill climb, but if you want to support your local independently owned shop, they should be able to order it.
Swag: There will be giveaways of the official Blood Diva mug It’s an 11ounce mug but looks smaller in the photo as it is next to a GIGANTIC cat. The cat is not swag. If you are a bookstore and willing to put the book on your shelves on consignment, I will GIVE you a mug. Stay tuned for more on mugs and how you can get one.
